Rob & ‘Twilight’ cast nominated in tonight’s People’s Choice Awards show!

Tonight is the night!

Yep, this evening you’ll be able to catch The People’s Choice Awards hosted by Queen Latifah as she and a handful of presenters pass out some of the popular vote’s awards for entertainment, movies, television and music.

The awards show can be caught on CBS tonight at 9 / 8 c as it airs live from Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California.

Entertainment Weekly said the following:

New trophy alert! Yes, the People’s statuette boasts a modified design. If that doesn’t float your boat, Queen Latifah is host- ing and Survivor‘s Mark Burnett is exec- producing the show, whose nominees include Glee and (plug your ears to protect them from teen squealing) Twilight. — Tim Stack

Already confirmed for attendance are the following but not limited to: Taylor Lautner, Ryan Reynolds, Carrie Underwood, and Kellan Lutz.  The scheduled performers for this evening are Mary J. Blige, Cobra Starship, and Nicole Scherzinger of The Pussycat Dolls.

The People’s Choice Awards site will start airing live streaming video from backstage and the red carpet starting at 7:30/6:30 c by visiting

Unfortunately, our favorite guy won’t be there but he sure is nominated for quite a few awards, so we’re keeping our fingers.. and eyes.. legs… and anything else that can be crossed… crossed! 🙂

Rob and the Twilight cast are nominated for the following:

  • Favorite MOVIE ACTOR – Robert Pattinson
  • Favorite MOVIE ACTRESS – Kristen Stewart
  • Favorite BREAKOUT MOVIE ACTOR – Taylor Lautner
  • Favorite ON-SCREEN TEAM – The Twilight Saga (Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner)
  • Favorite MOVIETwilight

And on an unrelated-yet-sort-of-related note:  Kings of Leon is nominated for Favorite Rock Band and I really hope they win.  No offense to the rest of the groups nominated, they’re great and all, I just love me some Kings of Leon, you know what I’m saying? LOL

Also, another cool thing I found is that the PCA site has a list of all the nominees that you can print off and pick your winners and compare it to the actual winners.  How accurate will your picks be?

So, what do you think?  Who’s going to win?  Who do you want to win?  Who could you care less about?

Let’s hear it!
